I signed up, but my computer is still dead, so I probably won't be able to do it right now. My husband lets me catch up on my blogging on his work computer for now, so that's nice. I'm thinking for now I will download all the stuff required and then do it later when my computer is fixed. Maybe I'll even be able to catch up, who knows? I really would like to learn digi scrapbooking. Do you know if Jessica will have videos like she does for the other classes?
ReplyDeleteWe raise chickens, and sometimes find eggs hidden in places other than the nesting boxes...naughty birds. Sometimes they've laid several eggs in their hiding spot, so we don't know how old they are. An easy, never failed for us test is this...
ReplyDeletePlace an egg in a bowl of cold water (enough to cover the egg by a couple of inches). If the egg lays on the bottom, its quite fresh. If the egg stands on end, its still good. If the egg floats, its probably bad...toss it. I've used this test on farm eggs, as well as store bought eggs.
Another tidbit...very fresh eggs take 3 times longer to boil than older ones, and eggs will stay good around 2-3 months in the fridge.
