Hello, Blogland!

Wow, I haven't blogged in a long time, huh?

Life has been getting in the way.  First, right around Christmas, our whole family got sick.  And stayed sick for a long time.  Nebulizers, inhalers, lots of trips to the doctor, etc.  In the midst of all that, I found out some pretty exciting news:
Baby's profile at at 18 week anatomy scan.

Yup!  Baby #2 is on HIS way!  He's due in August, so obviously we've known about him for a while.  Now there will be boy projects and sewing and decorating!

Continuing on... along with the news of baby #2 came the repercussions of baby #2 - extreme exhaustion.  Chasing Miss Amelia and her cousin Averie around the house all day can really wear a girl out!  Thankfully I'm over that now and almost in the third trimester.  I've been working on summer clothes for Amelia that I'm excited to blog about.

Amelia is growing fast.  She's funny, smart, and very observant.  Too observant at times.  :D  She's one of those kids whose brain needs to be working at all times or else they get into trouble.  I've got some activities I've done with her to share as well.

I changed up the blog aesthetic a bit as well, along with my photography website:  www.kerimccarthy.com.  I switched that one over to wordpress.  I like wordpress, but Quaint and Quirky will be staying with blogger a bit longer.

All this has kept me either flat out on my back or quite busy, but I'm ready to blog again and to keep blogging!
