Giveaway Day!

Today is GIVEAWAY DAY! 
  Welcome to Quaint and Quirky.  I might change it to, "A Quaint and Quirky" so it can be at the top of the list on giveaway days! ;)  Anyway...

I have TWO things to give away today.  First, this bag -

I call it a Bible Study bag or a Book Club bag.  It's the perfect size for a book, a notebook, a couple pens, and a bottle of water.  It's completely reversible and comes with a removable fabric flower with a pin back.  You can remove the flower and wear it as a brooch, on a belt, in your hair, etc.

Here's a closeup of the reverse side, as well as the fabric flower.
This week, I will post a tutorial for making the bag and the flower.  It's really a simple, simple bag to make and a great last minute gift!  

You might need to buy yourself some fabric to make this bag, so I'm also giving away

    ooh! that is such a wonderful giveaway. i would like to win the gift certificate, because, even though love the bag, but i'd never use it. I am thrifty, would not want to win a bag i would never use.

    i tend to have a new favourite color every year.. i fall in love with fabric and buy from different shops, then come back home and see the same color smiling from the shelves.

    this year it has been teal.. last year it was yellow. I adore vintage-look fabric and sandi henderson.

    I love the bag and the flower, but wouldn't say no to a gift certificate either! I seem to buy a lot of blue, green and earth tone fabrics (I never have enough orange or yellow in my stash when I need it!)

    Oh boy what a cute bag! I almost never buy fabric (I usually recycle old clothes), though I just found a sweet bag of upholstery fabric at the thrift store just begging to be made into bags! How's the baby (not such a baby any more, huh? Mine's growing like a weed, too!)

    such a cute bag and i love any kind of gc! I tend to buy bright bold prints. i love reds/oranges and yellows...i used to only like blues and cool colors but i find that my quilts are just happier with those in them.

    Oh, wow! I could definitely go with either. :) I tend to buy prints cause I make my own skirts. I have found that I usually buy fabric for a specific skirt without really thinking about whether or not it matches anything I already own. Which might explain why I have quite a few skirts that go with only one or two tops. :)
